1. New look portal ... easier navigation, more
information. Let us know what you think via the Forum.
2. OneAPI v0.91
The services available via the RI have been upgraded from OneAPI v0.5 to
v0.91.
The following services are currently available:
- Send an SMS to a terminal and request the SMS delivery status (SOAP
and REST)
- Request the location of a terminal (SOAP and REST)
- Request the data connection (roaming status and bearer network) for a
terminal (REST only)
The main differences in the services are as follows:
- Location REST takes a numerical value (in meters) as the accuracy
rather than a value of coarse/fine.
- REST POST methods parameters are name-value pairs in the Body rather
than as a query string on the URL. Note GET methods are still
query string.
- SOAP APIs were based on PX v2.2, now PX v3.0
The service endpoints have changed slightly, so please go to My DevPortal - Service Endpoints
to retrieve your new endpoints.
Tutorials, sample Java applications and WSDLs are also available from
the Library.
Access is still via SSL and Basic Authentication - refer to tutorial in
the Library for more details.
3. Sandbox Data Provisioning Service
A REST service in now available to allow you to provision your own
sandbox data.
For more information please refer to the tutorial in the Library.
4. Still to come over the coming months:
- Proxy services
- Receive an SMS and request notification of received SMS (SOAP and
REST)
- MMS capabilities in line with OneAPI v0.91 (SOAP and REST)
- Payment capabilities in line with OneAPI v0.91 (SOAP and REST)
